Before joining the TGH Litigation team, Landis worked for 8 years as a Claims Specialist at the Social Security Administration processing applications for every type of benefit SSA has to offer. This public service and the passion she found there both for policy and helping clients eventually inspired her to enroll in law school.
While in law school, Landis worked for the school’s Child and Family Justice Clinic and spent two summers as an intern with the Public Defenders in the Capital Trial Division. She was also active with Mizzou Law’s OUTLaw and National Lawyers Guild student organizations.
In her free time, Landis enjoys both seeing and participating in local theatre, reading, taking care of her plants, and singing karaoke with her friends.
