Deidre Wood

When she is not in a courtroom, Deidre can usually be found at her parents’ farm in Hallsville taking care of her horses. She enjoys spending time showing her horses, walking her dogs, and traveling with her husband.

Deidre Wood

Prior to joining TGH Litigation, Deidre represented Boone County as an Assistant County Counselor. She assisted in litigation before the Missouri State Tax Commission, the Mental Health Civil Commitment Docket, and the Court of Appeals. Additionally, she advised on an assortment of matters including sunshine law requests and employment concerns.

Deidre served as the Worker’s Compensation Team Leader for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office where she supervised a team of attorneys. In addition to her supervisory role, Deidre litigated workers compensations claims before Administrative Law Judges, the Labor and Industrial Relations Commission, and the Court of Appeals

Deidre also obtained extensive jury trial experience for the Missouri State Public Defender’s System primarily in Kansas City. During her eight years as a criminal defense trial attorney, she litigated cases ranging from probation violations to murder. As an experienced trial attorney, Deidre participated in training new attorneys.

When she is not in a courtroom, Deidre can usually be found at her parents’ farm in Hallsville taking care of her horses. She enjoys spending time showing her horses, walking her dogs, and traveling with her husband.
