Prior to joining TGH Litigation, Laura served as a consumer protection attorney at Mid-Missouri Legal Services, where she advised clients on employment discrimination and represented consumers in predatory lending matters. Before her work at MMLS, Laura clerked for the Hon. Kevin Harrell of the Jackson County Circuit Court in Kansas City.
While in law school, Laura represented children in public education matters to ensure disabled students received fair accommodations. She also served as the founding president of her law school’s American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) student organization.
Laura has also been recognized with a public service award from the Kansas City Association of Women’s Lawyers and a Ms. J.D. Women’s Strength in Numbers award. Her volunteer initiatives helped bring a non-profit organization to Kansas City that provides aid to children in need.
Outside of the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her daughter, visiting with friends and family, and engaging in the creative arts.
